List of Water-safe Crystals & Ways to Use Them

From enhancing spells to making elixirs or adding some extra intention to your moon water(link) there’s many reasons why you might need to wet your crystals. Some crystals don’t do well in water though, and the crystal itself might break down and/or make the water unsafe to ingest or use topically.

You might be wondering, but why would I need to use a crystal with water? There’s actually several reasons:

  1. You can cleanse a crystal by running it under water.

  2. You can use crystals to add extra intention to moon water

  3. You can add crystals to a spiritual bath.

  4. You can add it to your drinking water and make an elixir with it.

These crystals I’ve listed are completely safe to use in water and won’t break down when wet!

  • Clear quartz

  • Rose quartz

  • Amethyst

  • Citrine

  • Obsidian (can break if the water is extremely hot or cold)

  • Aventurine

  • Calcite
